...beaten, 1 to 0, and Georgetown, 2 to 1. The other game scheduled with Virginia was cancelled on account of rain. The squad arrived at Charlottesville, Virginia, last Sunday evening and was very comfortably provided for in a house close to the baseball field. Monday was clear and very warm, and practice was held both morning and afternoon. Another long practice was held Tuesday morning, but a heavy shower at noon, followed by continued rain, prevented further work until Thursday. Thursday afternoon the game with the University of Virginia was played. The team took the noon train Friday for Washington...
