...squad did not get out yesterday. It is expected, however, that the outfielders will get outdoors very shortly, if the weather permits. At present the battery candidates are under the supervision of Thomas Barnes, who pitched for the Bostons some years ago. At first the pitchers used only a straight ball, but they are now practicing curves. It will probably be necessary to cut down the squad still further before they get out doors...

In the finals between Sheafe and Thomas, at one time it looked as if Sheafe would win in the three straight sets, but Thomas braced up in the third and fourth sets and won them handily. ...Harvard Lacrosse Association held last evening it was decided to have a game with Cornell in Cambridge May 23 and if enough interest is shown other games will be arranged with Lehigh, Johns Hopkins and several other colleges. It was also voted to offer first and second prizes for straight and long-distance throwing, to be competed for in open competition the last of the season...
