...University squad had its usual batting and fielding practice yesterday afternoon. In the infield, Coolidge was again at second base, Skilton played short stop in Matthews's temporary absence on account of an injury, and Stephenson caught in the place of Kernan, who is recovering from a sprained ankle. The men all played with a great deal of spirit, and showed some improvement in throwing.
