Mr. George Lauri was exceedingly amusing as the "highly susceptible Chancellor" and Mr. J. C. Campbell made a very appropriate Stephen. The singing was excellent, the acting good and the scenery pretty. The satisfaction of the audience showed that Gilbert and Sullivan's old favorites have lost none of their popularity...
