Races for the L. P. Dodge 220-yard dash scratch cup and the S. G. Wells 440-yard and mile handicap cups were held yesterday afternoon. The entry lists were very large, especially in the quarter-mile, where the contestants were closely crowded throughout the race. E. O. Gourdin '21 captured first place in the 220, the first event, by a short margin over P. C. Pearson, Occ., and L. B. Sanderson '20, who crossed the line in second and third places respectively.
