...Huntington gave a continuation of his lectures with magic lantern views of different place in Europe. His subject was Switzerland. The hall was entirely filled with people who thoroughly enjoyed the lecture. In the course of the lecture, Mr. Huntington described an ascent which he made of Monte Rosa, a mountain nearly as high as Mont Blane. The mountain is a very difficult one to ascend, so difficult that it is impossible to carry a camera along, so that no views of the ascent itself could be given.
