Harvard won the first game at Philadelphia after a brilliant ninth inning rally by the score of 3 to 1. Felton and Captain Imlay had a pitchers' battle in which the Harvard twirler had slightly the better of the argument. The Pennsylvanian received poor support, however, especially in the last inning, when two errors gave the Harvard team three runs.
