What we have in mind in the present case is a course open to all members of the three upper classes which would take up the whole field of Greek literature in the first term and Latin in the second, by the lecture-preceptorial method, just as other literature courses are conducted at present. The work of the course might be built around reading assignments in translations of established excellence.
