...First, Ms. Freedberg referred to a figure of $8.2 million in "grants and endowments" held by Harvard. The figure involves no grants. It is all endowment. Also, Harvard did not "vow" to withdraw this from the BCH. Harvard did indicate that if forced out of the Hospital the support of the income from that endowment would be lost insofar as the BCH was concerned...

...Your article regarding the movie adaptation of A Doll's House has, I am sure, confirmed not only in my mind but also in the minds of many other Americans the fact that we do not need Jane Fonda. Ms. Fonda is not an actress but an activist and antagonist, i.e., antiwar and pro-Women's Lib. ...article in the Mar. 14th issue of the Crimson on Florynce Kennedy (spelled with a y) has a very restricted and slanted view of her talk and can only be called disrespectful. The article lived up to Ms. Kennedy's criticism of The Crimson as it was unimaginative, uninformative and downright bad reporting. The reporter obviously...

Ms. Kennedy and Prof. Kilson did have a brief exchange concerning Kilson's role here. Kennedy suggested that Black students utilize Kilson and "stick by him when he has problems" because he has the resources to help Black students survive here. Considering the prevailing view Black students have of Kilson, we feel that this was a newsworthy comment. Lemann, of course...

...find the Crimson's coverage of Ms. Kennedy's speech both outrageous and disgraceful, and we must certainly agree with her that Crimson news reporting leads to the conclusion that the paper is "a racist, sexist, elitist, noble-nigger paper."
