...wanted it to feel as real as possible - to have the pacing of a real experience. Most comics tend to rush by really fast. It's a very economical medium. I wanted it to have a much slower feel. There is a sort of staccato quality to a comic strip that doesn't lend itself necessarily to telling something that's a little more understated.
