...pilot announces our descent and we land at 7:50. My hopes for a smooth finale to our infernal voyage are rapidly extinguished. We taxi around for a bit, as if the plane needs more exercise. The depressed pilot says that Logan only has six gates for shuttles and that they are all occupied. A shuttle ahead of us waits for a gate as well. Risking a brouhaha, the pilot says that it could be another 15 to 30 minutes. The plane harmoniously sighs in unison and many break out cell phones to report the status of their misery...
