Secret practice of the University football squad yesterday was characterized by much fumbling and many poor tackles. The preliminary work was of the usual nature and the scrimmage consisted of a rushing game between the first team and the substitutes. Hurley, Mills and Leary reported for practice but were given only light work. Noyes also was out again but will not be in condition to play for several days. Brill and Oveson were given light work, Brill taking part in the scrimmage for only a few minutes. Whitman, Parker and Kernan were all absent from practice, but will report again...
