Practically all the substitutes on the first team were given a try-out under the direction of Coach Cutler, who had charge of the squad in the absence of Coach Haughton. ...this week was held by the University football squad in the Stadium yesterday afternoon. Owing to the hot weather, the work was short, and the squad was dismissed at 5 o'clock.
