...this month. Four Eastern universities will be represented in the games to be played between the hours of 2 and 6, and 8 and 10 of these dates, with a time limit of 36 moves in the first two hours, and 18 moves an hour thereafter. Any game not finished within the limit will be adjudicated unless the contestants agree to finish on the scheduled date...
...general public, and especially the unhoused public, has a right to complain bitterly of conditions which have made building in New York, and to a considerable extent in other cities, dependent almost wholly on the situation of a "fight to the finish" between union labor on one side and on the other an organization which is doing its best to get rid of an exclusively unionized labor. We have blamed, with reason, the Bethlehem Steel Company for seeking to restrict the sale of its steel to "open shop" builders, but it must be acknowledged that the offence of these manufacturers...
...Freshman and University teams of Dartmouth, Cornell and the University. On the 15th of March, at the John Wanamaker games, a quadrangular relay between the teams of Cornell, Princeton, Yale and the University will be held at the Milrose A. A. in New York City. This meet will finish the winter season except for an informal, intramural meet which will be held on the board track in the latter part of March...

Perhaps the Yale team didn't have finish but that is a thing that can be put on during this week. Then again, Yale will have Dickens and Aldrich back in the game Saturday, and with them in the line-up the Eli team will be a far more difficult proposition to face...
...Tigers the season is over. Starting in colorless fashion, Roper brought his team into whirlwind finish by tying the University and running up the second biggest score against Yale that a Princeton eleven has ever made. Princeton stands in rather an enviable position; for two years it has had a clean slate in the big three contests with two ties with the University and two decisive victories over Yale. It is, of course, impossible to name the sectional champion until all of the returns are in, but in any case Princeton will merit consideration for premier honors...
