...during the past week. In the last two games every man on the team hit safely, Burke and Meier batting especially well. In base-running the team is doing better work than at any previous time this season. Princeton played an errorless game against Lawrenceville and made but one error in the Cornell game, but in the Georgetown and Brown games the team showed a tendency to go to pieces. Hillebrand was very effective against both Brown and Cornell, and Lawrenceville could do nothing with Scott...
...showed a tendency to carelessness except when in a tight place, and generally did not pitch his best until Lafayette had men on bases. Reid was not up to his usual form, allowing two passed balls and making a wild throw to second, which would have been an error but for an exceptionally good catch by Coolidge. Kendall did not cover much ground and missed a thrown ball...
Lafayette scored twice in the second inning on singles by Bell and Hubley, a passed ball, and Howard's hit. In Harvard's half of the inning Clark reached first on Howard's error and Wendell on a sacrifice sent him to second. He took third on Deven's out and scored on Coolidge's hit. Reid's home run in the next inning tied the score. In the sixth Wendell singled and Devens went to first on Howard's error. Coolidge sacrificed and Stillman hit to centre, bringing in both men. Stillman came in on Loughlin's two-base...

Both teams played a rather loose fielding game. Innings, 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 runs. b.h. e. Second Nine...
...Yale baseball team has played three games, defeating Holy Cross by 4 to 3 Amherst by 15 to 6 and Wesleyan by 2 to 0. Yale's batting was weak in all three games, and the fielding indifferent, except in the Wesleyan game, which Yale played without an error. The infield does not play well together, and has trouble in handling pop flies and bunt hits. Sharpe at first is steadily improving, and Quinby makes few misplays at second, but does not cover enough ground. Camp and Brown, at short and third, play brilliantly though somewhat erratically. The outfield...
