...Codex Venetus of Aristophanes is a manuscript generally assigned to the twelfth century, containing 172 leaves, which measure 11 1-4 by 8 1-2 inches. It contains only seven plays (Plutus, Clouds, Frogs, Knights, Birtis, Peace, and Wasps), but is held to be superior to the "Ravennas" manuscript in the character of its text and in the importance of the scholia which fill the margins of its pages.
