Professor David Franklin Houston, A. M. '92, has been prominent in educational affairs in the south for a number of years. He was graduated from South Carolina College in 1887 and in 1892 received the degree of A.M. from Harvard. Soon afterwards he became a professor of political science at the University of Texas.
