Within moments, my captors and I were trotting into the jungle. We came to a small command post, and once again I blurted out: "Bao-chi, hoa-binh." They were Viets, all 15 of them, and they understood. Now they began talking, asking me the question I feared most: "My? My? My?" (American? American? American?)
