COUNTRY CLUB, FARMINGTON, CONN., Nov. 20.--In this afternoon's signal practice Captain Burr was in his old position at left guard. The probability is that he will play, although the matter will not definitely be decided until just before the game. His place at left guard has been filled by Dunlap...

...injury to Captain Burr, which at first appeared to be merely a wrench of the arm, has proved to be more serious. On closer examination it was found that the shoulder itself was badly injured and one or two of the ligaments torn. This being the case, it is impossible for him to play against either Carlisle or Dartmouth, but it does not prevent the possibility of his being able to play against Yale at New Haven on the twenty-first. The tearing of the ligaments which has taken place will take considerable time to heal, but it remains...

Burr, while falling on the ball in the preliminary practice yesterday, wrenched his arm and will not be able to play today. The full extent of his injuries is not known, but apparently no ligaments or muscles were torn. McGuire will take his place at left guard. Dunlap will play in Hoar's position at right guard on account of injuries to the latter's hip. Houston will start the game at left end and Cutting will probably be substituted for him in the second half...
