...Frothingham '03 second. On the second lap Colwell went to the front and kept the lead to the end. Frothingham and Hall struggled for second place up to the last lap, when J. H. Stone '04 passing Frothingham, took third place. The first mile was made in 5m. 12s. Colwell who won first place is however ineligible to compete in outside games this year, having represented a western college in a track meet last year...
