...Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire, Indian adz-blades, axes, scrapers, soapstone vessels, pottery fragments, and the stone points of spears and arrows. Many of the specimens were found near Dr. Green's home at Groton, Mass. Several came from Norton, Concord, Martha's Vineyard, Webster, Cambridge, and from Teverton, R. I. Most of the implements are relics of the Algonquins of New England, while a few were discovered in the country of the Iroquois of New York.
