...Brandeis has been prominent in Boston for a number of years as a sponsor of the popular cause against such monopolies as the gas trust. He was admitted to the bar in 1878 and the following year became a member of the law firm of Warren & Brandeis. Since 1897 he has been senior partner of Brandeis, Dunbar & Nutter.
