...football practice yesterday afternoon was the most spirited of any of this year, the first eleven scoring three touchdown on the second team in a 20-minute scrimmage. There was an unusual amount of the snap in the work and many long runs were made by the backs, both on simple line plays and on forward passes and onside kicks. The features of the work were a 45-yard run by Foster, and a 70-yard end run by Lincoin later, when numerous substitutes were tried.
