...next bout showed some lively and scientific sparring. It was give and take between the contestants, J. L. Dodge, '91, and P. Marquand, '89. The first round was very nearly even. Dodge seemed to have a slight advantage in the second. The third round was blow for blow again, and neither man guarded as well as before.
