...acting of no one in the cast was positively bad. Perhaps the most praise is due to Mr. Wilson, whose impersonation of the barrister Dick Pheny, though once or twice slightly coarse, leaves little to be desired. Miss O'Leary as Lavender, and Miss Sheridan as Minnie Gilfillian did good, faithful, and at many times charming work, Miss Sheridan showing perhaps more originality than Miss O'Leary. Mr. Booth's Horace Bream was well done, though the part is rather a disagreeable one. Next Monday will begin a short season of the favorite old comedies, with the same company...
