Robert Darrah Jenks died on January 22, 1917, in Philadelphia, Pa. He prepared for College at the Penn Charter School, graduated from the University in the Class of 1897 and after a year of railroading took up the study of law. He graduated from the Law School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1901 and was a practising lawyer thereafter, devoting much of his time to public causes.
