...Secretary's office. I organized the Philomusagothespian Society; but, owing to lack of support from the College, the Society was obliged to disband. At first I boarded with my cousin Mr. Connors; but, for the last year, I have taken a suite of rooms in College House. My best friend was the President of the Porcelain Club. I did not know him very intimately, but I saw him constantly at a distance...

...call the attention of the athletes in the University to the Columbia Games, which are to take place during the holidays. This plan of allowing members of other colleges to enter seems to us one of the best that has yet been devised on this side of the water. Not only does it promote acquaintance and a friendly feeling among men from different parts of the country, but it should also tend to improve our records, and eventually make them equal, or even surpass, those of the English Universities. The fact that Wm. S. Kimball & Co have come out far ahead of all other manufacturers in both countries is unmistakable proof that their goods are the best the world produce. Their tobacco and cigarettes will henceforth be on sale in Paris as freely as in New York, but no other...

BOSTON MUSEUM. "Dr. Clyde" is a rather amusing piece, although the plot is very slight. The best character in the play is Higgins, the servant of Dr. Clyde, who, by reading his master's medical books at odd moments, imagines that he knows everything about the theory of medicine, and only needs practice. He accordingly undertakes to prescribe for a patient in the doctor's absence. The acting is quite good, Warren, of course, leading with his assumption of Higgins. Mr. Burrows, as Dr. Clyde, and Mrs. Vincent, as his wife, are both good; we have rarely seen Mrs. Vincent...
