About $2000 has been raised for the proposed Germanic Museum. By the end of the year, the committee of the German Department, composed of Professors Bartlett, Francke and Schilling, hopes to secure $10,000, with which to start a collection of views and reproductions of characteristic works of Germanic industry and art, from the earliest times to the 16th century. The collection will probably be placed either in the new Engineering Building or in Sever Hall.
