...hear, with pleasure, that the Cambridge Operatic Society, by the earnest solicitation of their friends, will repeat, on next Tuesday evening, the comic opera entitled "The Doctor of Alcantara." In the first rendering of this opera the amateur company are entitled to commendation for a performance of more than average merit.
