Data from the orbiting astronomical satellite has also confirmed the presence of graphite crystals in the intergalactic dust beyond the Milky Way. Both phenomena should help scientists understand better how stars and galaxies evolve. With any luck, scientists believe, OAO-II could continue to probe the secrets of the universe...
