Coach Warren Berg cut his Freshman baseball squad to 19 players yesterday, as the Yardling nine continued intensive preparations for a 12-game schedule which opens at Soldiers Field Saturday. Lloyd Harper's Jayvees will form the opposition.
Two Exeter alumni and two former basketball players will make up the Yardling infield. Foster is the son of Reginald C. Foster '11, former Crimson track star. His brother, Hugh K. Foster '50, was the number one man on the Yardling racquet squad this year.
