The Weld Boathouse has now been opened and as all the floats have been put out the Weld crews will hereafter row from their own house. All the floats at the Newell are in position and the launch "John Harvard" will be put in commission today...
Fourteen crews went out on the river yesterday afternoon, all of them starting from the University Boathouse where the floats have been put in position. Vail and Wray coached several of the crews from the coxswains' seats. One of the floats at the Weld has already been put out and the others will probably be ready today. Work on the launch is now in progress and it will be put in commission early next week...
