...meeting of the Cricket Association last evening, Messrs. Dexter, '90, Quinby '87, and Norman, '90, were appointed a committee to select new grounds. This year the club will devote more attention to team shooting, and will try to keep a team in the field through the winter and spring. Challenges will be sent to the local clubs about Cambridge, and also to the gun clubs at Yale and the University of Pennsylvania. Last year two matches were shot with the Dedham Club, in both of which Harvard was victorious by the scores of 67 to 63, and 109 to 91. But the club is seriously crippled by the loss of its '86 members, among whom it numbered many of its best shots...

...handicap meeting, it will thus be seen how near '90 came to finding itself barred not only from witnessing, but also from competing in its own games. As a membership ticket to the H. A. A. is good as long as its owner lives, and admits to the Winter Meetings in the gymnasium as well as to those on Holmes Field, it seems needless for us to advise all freshmen who have not already joined, to do so immediately.
