There is a scheme on foot for giving up one or possibly all of the regular winter meetings and substituting open handicap games in Boston some time in February or March. It will be necessary to obtain the consent of the Athletic Committee, but hopes are entertained that a petition will be successful, as such games would greatly improve the financial standing of the association.
