SATURDAY, May 15, was all that could be desired as to the weather overhead, but a strong breeze blew up the Charles River course, and did much to make the times of the crews poor. At about three o'clock the tug left the West Boston Bridge pier, and steamed over to the Union Boat House, where Dr. Charles H. Williams, the Referee, was taken on board.
