To prove them wrong, she would point to her well-worn collection of Beatles, Rolling Stones and Grateful Dead albums as evidence of a normal '60s youth. (Like her husband, she admits to having tried marijuana.) For good measure, she would remind reporters that she used to play the drums in high school (she still has her old drums set up in the basement). ...first glance, Robb seems miscast in the role of a Klan leader. Like his role model David Duke, the Imperial Wizard turned politician, Robb has traded in his pointed hood and robe for a well-worn gray suit and dingy wing tips. Like Duke, he has altered the Klan's hate-filled message to make it more palatable. Robb's white supremacy emphasizes love for the white race rather than hatred for blacks and other minorities. Like many men in his condition, he has few tangible items: a well-worn sleeping sack, a garbage bag full of clothes, and some notes scrawled on grubby pieces of paper. But unlike those of most street people, the notes in Richard Kreimer's hands are not limited to the addresses of sympathetic friends and the opening hours of the local soup kitchen. There are some telling initials -- G,S,D, -- next to the phone numbers on those sheets. Geraldo. Sally. Donahue...
