Yesterday the Harvard steam launch appeared on the river for the first time. Charley Hart went for it in the afternoon and came up just as the crew were about to put their barge into the water. The arrival of the launch made a different arrangement than was expected. Captain Perkins arranged the crew as follows: Stroke, Powers '92; 7, Kelton '93; 6 Vail '93; 5, Shaw '94; 4, Watriss '92; 3, Cummings '93; 2, Lynam, M. S.; bow, Newell '94. The captain and C. F.
