Partnering with a local technology company, VideoFurnace, Northwestern launched their own “Cable via the Ethernet” network. This term marks the one-year anniversary of their experiment, and it has worked with astonishing results. After starting with only 20 channels in 2002, Northwestern is now looking to expand its programming to include services such as HBO and Pay-Per-View.
