Wendell reached first on an error, was advanced to third by Devens' two base hit, and both men scored on Stillman's timely hit. Pennsylvania was shut out till the fifth inning, when two errors by Coolidge, followed by a single by Shape scored one run. ...eighth inning Harvard won the game. Clark was hit by a pitched ball, and Wendell singled. After Devens struck out, Coolidge made a two base hit, scoring Clark. Stillman received a base on balls and Kendall was hit by a pitched ball. Reid then knocked a high fly just back of second base, which was allowed to fall untouched, scoring two more runs. The game ended without further scoring, Pennsylvania seeming to lose courage in the face of Harvard's lead...

Hard, consistent batting is the feature of Princeton's work, and has won games against Lawrenceville, Brown and Cornell during the past week. In the last two games every man on the team hit safely, Burke and Meier batting especially well. In base-running the team is doing better work than at any previous time this season.
