The game was very closely contested, Loughlin's team finally winning by a score of 8-6. Batting, the weakest point, has at last begun to show improvement and several doubles and a three-base hit were secured. The features of the game were the unusual number of successful bunts made and the base-stealing. The fielding at present is as good as can be expected and most of the men are steadily improving.
