...game opened with Harvard at the bat. Dean, Linn, Trafford, and Codman made hits, and these together with a base on balls, and five or six errors netted Harvard seven runs. In the second inning again all the men had a bat, and six of them crossed the plate. The third inning gave Harvard five more tallies; Trafford got his base on balls, Stetson hit safely, Codman was also sent to first base on balls, and Evans reached first base on balls, and Evans reached first base on Kent's errors.
