Second inning.- Trafford was out by McClung's fine assist to first. Alward was out in the same way and Soule fouled out to Poole.- Poole hit a grounder along the first base line which Downer failed to get; he stole stole second and McClung sacrificed him to third. Cushing struck out. With two men out McClintock hit to Soule, who fumbled, and Poole scored. Trafford dropped Alward's throw on Owsley's grounder and McClintock took second and Owsley first; they were both advanced a base on Stagg's base on balls.
