Two minutes later Bertron made the first touchdown for Yale, from which Terry kicked a goal for Yale. Soon after Terry made two touchdowns, but failed to kick a goal. During a scrimmage the captain of the Stevens Institute team was hurt by striking one of the goal posts and Cotiard was put in his place...

For the first few minutes there was very little brilliant play, but a touchdown by Wesselhoeft made after a very fine run soon aroused the enthusiasm of the spectators. The goal was kicked by Austin. Shortly after Kendall ran with the ball far into Wesleyan's territory and she was forced to make a safety touchdown.
