...MSNBC/Reuters tracking poll. For the last week or so, the poll had the race tighter than any of the major tracking polls, by a few points. By Monday, when the poll actually showed Gore leading Bush by two points, MSNBC's anchors introduced its results sheepishly, noting that every other poll disagreed with them and embarrassingly following it up with another poll from its parent, NBC, that showed Bush with a three-point lead. The poll's actual Gore lead may not be vindicated, but it's at least looking a lot less stupid...
