EXCEPT for the unfortunate accident in the Heavy-Weight Sparring, the last day of the Winter Meeting was as successful, though not as interesting, as the previous ones. The fact that there was only one entry in each of the wrestling-classes, and that therefore no cup was given, is a text for some criticism on the clause in the Constitution of the Athletic Association which directs that there shall be no prizes awarded for walk-overs. ...Rolfe, '81 (one of the contestants on the parallels the week before), R. Luce, '82, J. T. Howe, '80, the winner of the Club Juggling, and E. D. Brandegee, '81, of the Varsity. Mr. Rolfe's swinging was very graceful; but, as on the parallels, his motions, though very well executed, lacked variety; and as Mr. Luce showed a lamentable want of practice, the contest for the prize was quickly narrowed down to Messrs.
