ALTHOUGH the last meeting of the Union was eminently a successful one, yet there were certain incidents which call for remark, in order to prevent their occurrence in future. In several instances a lack of the sense of propriety was shown, considering the subject and occasion; while one or two of the speakers indulged in what would have been inappropriate at any time or in any place.
