...shown last night by the crowded condition of Sanders Theatre. The concert was of a popular nature, all the pieces of which were well rendered, as well received and boisterously encored. Of the regular numbers, the selections from the "Geisha" gained, perhaps, the most applause, but "Up the Street,"--which was played with much spirit,--was the most taking piece of the evening. Good judgement was shown in the selection of the pieces and the result was that the concert was much more successful than last year's. The men played in good time with much expression and spirit...

About sixty men went on the practice run yesterday in preparation for the final hare and hound run which will be held on Monday. The squad took the regular cross country run of about five and a half miles, through Garden street, around Fresh Pond, and back by way of Brattle street.
