The Sophomores, have been taking much longer rows, coached by Stevenson from the launch. So far the Junior crew has shown by far the best form, having several men of experience in the boat. The Sophomores have also been improving rapidly. The Senior crew has suffered much from lack of material, and consequently is at present rowing poorly. The weather so far has been favorable for so early in the season...
With the exception of yesterday, crews from the University and Freshman squads have rowed down-stream to the basin every day during the past week. The University eight was greatly strengthened by the return of Lunt to 2 on Wednesday, the only change that has been made in the order this week...
