This last step taken in the attitude of the University toward the Boston riots is a fitting corollary to the part played by graduates and undergraduates in the troubled times last week. The great courage shown by Harvard volunteer policemen in facing the mob of hoodlums has given the University and college men in general a position of trust in the minds of law-abiding citizens.
