There is little to add in way of explanation; the statements themselves are concise and strongly expressed and present Harvard's attitude in the matter in a light which is probably new, in great part even to Harvard men. We cannot urge too strongly the importance and necessity that every man in college should take advantage of the opportunity now given to learn the policy which has been our guide throughout this controversy with Princeton and the position in which we now stand.
